Hello Friends and Family — welcome to our wedding website. We were beyond excited to share this day with the people we love.
It all started with a quick weekend jaunt to Huntsville, AL with friends. The plan was to enjoy local breweries and restaurants, but Keith had something sparkly packed away in his bag. The evening of December 12th was spent visiting new spots around town and everyone was having a great time. Only problem… there was nowhere that felt like the "right time" to ask.
At the end of the evening the group headed back to the Airbnb to hang out and have a cocktail. Somehow the conversation led to the topic of how to say "I love you" in different languages. Examples in Hungarian and Norwegian were very impressive.
All of a sudden Keith leaned over and asked Cassidy the same question — "Do you know how I say I love you?" Cassidy, being delightfully tipsy, thought Keith had a witty one-liner coming so she kissed his face and said "With kisses?" She didn't even notice that he was on one knee and holding a stunning engagement ring.
Keith replied: "No, with this. Cassidy, will you marry me?" She said "SHUT UP!!" — and might have hit him just a teeny bit. Eventually she was able to process what was happening and said YES.
Have you known your best friend for more than half your life? Cassidy has. Megan and Cassidy met more than 20 years ago — so you can only imagine the stories they've accumulated. She is the most loyal, protective, and amazing person with a huge heart of gold.
My best man — and my number one guy. There's no one in this world Keith could have imagined by his side on such an incredible day. He was so proud then. Still is now.
